Certified Traffic Control Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:
>Coordinate and inspect traffic control set-ups for conformance with approved traffic control plans, MUTCD guidelines, and local entity requirements.
>Conducts pre-worksite inspections.
>Provide necessary information to design Traffic Control Plans.
>Attend or conduct job site meetings with contractors and engineers.
>Ensure that the traffic control system provided is meeting the customer’s needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
>2 years of experience working in a Supervisor environment (preferred).
>Excellent judgment; strong sense of urgency and unyielding integrity/ethics.
>Proven history of honoring commitments.
>Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment; team player.
>Ability to load and unload equipment from truck independently.
>Ability to read, implement and adjust traffic plans; communicate recommendations.
>Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills (heavy attention to detail required).
>Keep daily work logs on either our tablets or on paper, timesheet tracking, and accurate inventory logs in compliance with contractors, agencies, and company policy.
>Ability to conduct oneself in a manner that promotes a professional atmosphere and ensures that the encounter with both internal and external customers is an above-average experience.

Compensation for Federal and State jobs is Wage plus Fringe and paid in full to the employee.
